IADC WELL SHARP (DRILLING OPERATIONS) – SUPERVISOR COURSE
DURATION: 5 days
DESIGNED FOR: This course has been designed for toolpushers, drilling engineers, drilling supervisors, superintendents, company men, drilling foremen and others with a requirement to hold an IADC Well Sharp Certificate, Supervisor Level. OVERVIEW: This course meets the requirements from IADC and the training is role-specific. The 4-day course is only offered with Surface BOP Stack. An optional 1-day Subsea module or Workover module will give the delegate a combined Certificate. COURSE DELIVERY: The course is delivered using presentations supported by animations and videos, workbook with exercises, and practical work on a drilling simulator.
IADC WELL SHARP TEST: Under the IADC Well Sharp programme the examination is invigilated by an independent third party. The examination will be an on-line examination administered directly by IADC at an IADC-accredited training centre. The written test paper is available for Thai Language and Bahasa Indonesia Language. It is one knowledge tests (on-line examination) and one practical simulator test. Successful completion of the course and examination will result in IADC Well Sharp Supervisor certification which is valid for two years.
